SECONDARY STUDENTS – Moving forward with the term.

As we move through the term (a common theme – moving forward!) students are becoming more involved with their AFL sessions and are having a great time learning new skills with the strange-shaped ball! They have learned several new games – a tennis alternative using a football, and a football version of dodgeball.

The secondary students will be showing off some of their skills (the easier, more tame, less destructive skills) at our school concert. Please make sure that you come along to support them and the other students.

We have been building on our school values, our respect for ourselves and each other, and resilience, in the secondary classroom. The students did an activity where they wrote lovely things about each other and then got to see how the rest of the class felt about them. There were a lot of smiles as the students read each other’s comments.
